Most Amazing Dinner. Food was excellent as was the service.
Check out the seance room upstairs.
Will be having dinner here the next time we visit NOLA.

2nd time we've gone to this restaurant. Everything is delicious. I had the blackened fish, my husband had the filet mignon. The sauce on the filet mignon was delicious. Both were cooked perfectly. Our favorite thing is the Rum Bread Pudding. It's to die for!

This was my 2nd visit to Muriel's. We had a party of 8 many who had never been to New Orleans and only one who had been to Muriel's. The group talked about this dinner for days. The food across the board was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone did the 3 course dinner and there was a wide variety of food selected. The crepes, gumbo and pork chop were huge hits. For dessert everything was amazing. The break pudding was my favorite and worth a trip just for that! So if you are in the Quarter have dinner at Muriels, go to the seance room for a drink and then walk down the block to Jackson Square for a carriage ride. You will not be disappointed.

So many choices in NOLA for French cuisine and this restaurant wins for setting, prix fixe menu and the quality of the cuisine. Professional wait staff and great bartenders as well. Very bad first impression thanks to the woman at the hostess stand - she has to deal with a lot of amateurs, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Once we got past her, the evening was superb. Best pork chop I’ve ever had and the pain perdu bread pudding dessert was incomparable. This is New Orleans in all the right ways.

We had a 5:30pm reservation and if you're looking at the photo, they sat us on the upstairs balcony right in the front corner. Literally the best seat, overlooking Jackson Square while street performers did their thing. The food was AMAZING and we ended up getting 3 appetizers and splitting the main course (and we didn't miss out on dessert either; the Crème Brulee was to die for!) I wish I'd gotten the waiters name so I can mention it, but he was great. Even gave us a tour of all their other rooms before we left. Great place!!
