This hotel is modest and clean. The rooms are compact but neat. The staff are friendly.
However there are several issues that make this a terrible choice.
The main issue is the noise:
The walls in the room are paper thin, you can hear people talking at normal volumes in the next door rooms. If they shout drunkenly or are intimate, you hear everything.
You hear all the electronic doors slamming in your corridor all night.
The noise from the street because of the thin windows and the specific location of the are continuous all night.
The pillows are dreadful and lumpy. The beds are very soft.
After one night, we left immediately the next morning and moved down the street to a marginally more expensive hotel which was infinitely superior.
It beggars belief this hotel is rated so highly, there is no way anyone who rates this place highly has stayed in a good mid priced hotel before.More
