The Whitney Hotel is a very clean, friendly, and cost worthy place to stay. The staff are so nice and work very fat to help you with everything. The only reason I did not say it was great is there was not a small refrigerator in the rooms other than that is was a great !

The Whitney was a charming hotel, within a few blocks from the beginning of the French Quarter in New Orleans on Canal Street (note: a few blocks from Canal - not across the street, so to get to Bourbon Street is a little walk - but not bad). It was a historic hotel, which means you need to expect rooms will be well-apportioned but a bit more aged inside. Although coffee was available in the guestrooms, I was disappointed the continental breakfast bar downstairs (which I missed) did not offer coffee for a longer period of time.

The staff are very friendly, nice and helpful. The room is clean. The shower head didn't have the best pressure and the water temperature is lukewarm. The 2 bottles of water are a nice gesture but there was no fridge for the extra water that we purchased. To be fair, there was an ice dispenser though. The hotel's architecture is outstanding and the elevators are really fast. If I go back to New Orleans I wouldn't mind staying there, it was good enough for the price we payed ($113 a night for a Friday and Saturday night stay) considering how expensive other hotels were over the weekend. A big thank you to the staff member who handed us 2 cold bottles of water after we checked out as she could see how hot it was outside. We loved our stay in New Orleans

Perfect stab, perfect rooms, perfect service and perfect location.. A jem in the very nice business area. Short walk to everything. Alot of nice cafes and restaurants in the area, and a short walk to all of the areas to see.

Air conditioning went out and was unable to fix til next day. When checking out it took over 45 minutes for our car to be returned from off sight parking. The upgraded king suite does not have a king bed it was a queen.
