Amazing tour, very knowledgeable guide as she has lived in the area her whole life. So personable and passionate about her city. It was a joy to spend the 4 hours biking, listening and learning.
Amazing lunch of shrimp Po Boys at Cajun Joe's while talking with a local celebrity and lifetime resident, Mr. Ronald Lewis, of the 9th ward. Such an interesting man....we could have spent hours listening to his stories and asking questions. Be sure to save luggage space to purchase his autographed book, The House of Dance and Feathers.
Cannot say enough good things about this tour and would highly recommend it for all who enjoy biking and want a different perspective to NOLA other than Bourbon St and the party atmosphere.

Our Tour guide was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable about New Orleans history and recent and past and was willing to share about her own family history which really brought the tour to life.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed this tour and will remember it for years to come! It was a joy getting to know our tour guide LeeAnne (ninth ward native) as well as the residents of this hospitable neighborhood. We appreciated that the tour was private and that LeeAnne was happy to answer all of our questions and let us experience the museums at our own pace. LeeAnne was extremely knowledgeable and overall an excellent tour guide. We have already begun recommending this tour to friends and family! We hope that the tour will continue to gain popularity and be able to raise more money for and awareness around the community.

This tour is top of our list for recommendations to discover 'the real' New Orleans.
It wasn't all about Hurricane Katrina which was great - we learnt so many interesting things about the city and visiting the House of Dance & Feathers was a definite highlight.
The people in this great city make it what it is today, everyone was so honest and open.
Jeff was the perfect tour guide and went above & beyond what was required. We only wished that more time was spent biking in the lower ninth ward - due to time constraints we missed out on seeing the Habitat for Humanity houses and the musicians houses. But that was a very small negative.
Highly recommended and a must do!

This was a wonderful bike ride. From where we started close to Frenchmen street, then through the Bywater and then across the canal and then into the 9th Ward. Riding along the water was incredible and LeeAnne's interspersing of her personal history added to the reality of what was being presented. Without getting too political -- the neglect of the Ninth Ward by the city and state is an embarrassment to them. I can't wait to do it again with my family.
