This tour is top of our list for recommendations to discover 'the real' New Orleans.
It wasn't all about Hurricane Katrina which was great - we learnt so many interesting things about the city and visiting the House of Dance & Feathers was a definite highlight.
The people in this great city make it what it is today, everyone was so honest and open.
Jeff was the perfect tour guide and went above & beyond what was required. We only wished that more time was spent biking in the lower ninth ward - due to time constraints we missed out on seeing the Habitat for Humanity houses and the musicians houses. But that was a very small negative.
Highly recommended and a must do!

This was a wonderful bike ride. From where we started close to Frenchmen street, then through the Bywater and then across the canal and then into the 9th Ward. Riding along the water was incredible and LeeAnne's interspersing of her personal history added to the reality of what was being presented. Without getting too political -- the neglect of the Ninth Ward by the city and state is an embarrassment to them. I can't wait to do it again with my family.

What a privilege to be welcomed into the 9th Ward. Smiles and hellos from everyone we passed. Jeff was a warm and highly knowledgeable tour guide with a wonderful sensitivity to both the history of New Orleans and the post Katrina way of life. As an added bonus, he gave us an amazing tip on a little-known restaurant to check out! I recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys a thought-provoking experience coupled with a bit of exercise.

Very knowledgeable guide.
Different way of visiting New Orléans and being "part" of its history.
Easy going ride, it would have been easy to bike all day long.
Thank you so much, definitely the best part of our trip.

Me and my boyfriend were hesitating to this bike tour since it was difficult to get in touch with them and arrange the tour. Plus, this was the second tour we did in our lives and the first one was in NOLA and was not so good.

I am very happy we did! Leann, our guide was wonderful! Super knowledgeable, curious and well articulated (English is not my first language) Even though our sleep was short, it was totally worth it to see the consequences of Katrina and how this still difficult for the people who were affected. One more time reminder, nature is bigger than us.
