We passed this a few times walking and decided to try it. Awesome surprise!! I had the pulled pork and it was moist with the perfect amount of sauce. Delicious cole slaw and mac and cheese for sides. In a town of cajun and creole, it was a nice surprise to find a great BBQ place!

Good atmosphere and everything smelled amazing. We sat down and were greeted by the waiter. That was the extent of the politeness and professionalism from the man. Only two out of the four people in our party were asked what drinks they wanted. They were out of two of the three beer choices I wanted, which were common beers. The wife asked for a skillet plate with no onions. It came back covered in onions. After we complained about the plate the waiter argued that we only asked if the plate could be made with no onions and we didn't actually request it with no onions. As we were waiting they ran out of brisket and the fries. This was lunchtime they were running out of these items. My wife stated she would pull off the onions as long as we got another skillet as she was sharing it with our daughter. The guy tried to take the old plate away and stated we didn't need it. Finally all the food arrived, still no drinks for my daughter's only water. The food was good, had great taste however a lot of the portions were cold. The waiter never asked how the food was nor asked for any refills on our drinks. As we concluded the meal he came by and took the wife's plate but did not grab any other trash. Apparently we all looked as if we were still eating. He came by again and stated he would be giving a discount for the messed up plate. He brought the ticket back and it still had the full price on it and he even stated it had it still on there. The wife paid him and he never came back with the change, as he must have thought we would be giving the rest to him. As we talked about it amongst ourselves he must have heard us. He went outside to smoke which was right infront of the open front door. Following his smoke he came back in and slammed the change down on the table and walked away back outside to smoke again. Overall the food was good but the waiter ruined the whole experience. I know the public can be a pain to work with but how the waiter acted was totally out of line. Sometimes one should just find another line of work.

Was our last meal before leaving. Picnic tables to sit on which really made you feel like you're at a BBQ. I had the brisket and the flavors were amazing. Portions were perfect. Lots of light comes in thru the top windows and when the doors are open. It wasn't Smokey so you don't smell like BBQ when you leave. The guy who works there offered us house of blues tickets but since we were leaving we couldn't take them. Prices were reasonable. If we would have found this place sooner we would have eaten here more. Don't forget to get the corn on the cob and mac & cheese!!

We stopped by for a late night dinner on a Sunday we had had a large breakfast and lunch - this was perfect. The smoked BBQ chicken fell off the bone and tasted delicious. We also ordered a burger but it was not so great - a little overcooked. The service was very attentive and pleasant. It is a very casual place - picnic table seating.
