This place never fails to impress! Great service and delicious beignets…the cafe-au-lait simply the best! Highly recommend the cafe-au-lait served with chocolate…delicious!

Great waiter and wonderful coffee and beignets served hot and fresh. Go early or late to avoid crowds and a wait. So good!

We went at a time when the line was very manageable, later in the day. Service was fast considering the demand. The only downside was that it was cash only. If you get overstimulated easy, it might be a little difficult for you.

First, order one at a time. You are likely not to be able to finish the full portion alone. The prices are beyond reasonable, but cash only. Those beignets that were fully cooked were fluffy and delicious. Those that weren't were a source of a short-lived disappointment. The cafe has a nice view of the park and is at the feet of a short walkway to a terrace overlooking the river, the park, and the St. Louis cathedral. You can purchase the beignet mix right at the table if the shops are closed at the time. The best part is friendly, beautiful people that serve you when you are there. Must visit!
