Wow, all this fuzz cuz of some bread with powdered sugar.....not worth it. The menu is on the napkin dispencer....coffee, juice or water......and the bread.

Expect a wait to sit or order to go but the fresh made beignets are super yummy and worth the wait!!

Delicious beignets and coffee, and the incredibly long line moved fairly quickly. They do their best to get everyone in and out as fast as they can. They give you three for just a few bucks. We didn't bother trying to get a table, since every single one was full and there was a long line to sit down too. We waited in the to-go line which was about 20-25 min long. They just hand you the food immediately once you pay and we found a bench seat up the path, away from the cafe.

Yes, it cheesy, and a tourist stop, but the beignet are warm, covered in sugar and the Chickory coffee was hot, strong and good.

Go. And get and order. You’ll be glad.

Iconic and worth the wait...just don't go in the morning. It is open 24 hours and there is plenty of time to get beignet and coffee later in the day with a beautiful view of the Square.
