Went on a three day get away and chose to Stay at the Roosevelt. It was close enough to the French Quarter, yet far enough to get a good night sleep. The room was very comfortable and the service was exceptional. Nicholas at the Front Desk checked us in with a smile and shared information about the hotel along with sending a bottle of champagne to recognize my anniversary celebration. Merry at the Fountain Lounge was very friendly and upbeat and the doorman Randy made you feel special and was always available to show you how to get to where you were going and helpful with suggestions. When coming to New Orleans again, the Roosevelt will be on my stop.

We brought our toddler to NOLA for a last “only child” trip before a new baby, and had the most wonderful time. Trolleys are right outside, easy access to attractions, and amazing food right there in the hotel. Domenica was fantastic. We arrived later than expected and missed a reservation at another restaurant. The staff at Domenica saw our distressed and discretely sat us without a reservation! We stayed in a Luxury Suite and it was fabulous. The hotel pool is a little small (when it’s packed for the summer) but did the trick to cool us down after walking around the city all day. The trolleys make it very easy to get around. The location is very convenient to the Aquarium, French Quarter, etc.. although it’s not the ideal spot for 1) families with small children (we were fine because we weren’t out late, but I wouldn’t want to walk back to the hotel in the dark) and 2) for people wanting to be “in the action” of the French Quarter.

We stayed for a 4 day weekend. The front desk staff was great, we had a snafu with our room key, quickly rectified and the staff went over and above to apologize. The rooftop pool is smaller than I expected, but again the staff was great, the food at the pool bar was better than I expected. Nice to grab a coffee and croissant at Teddy's Cafe. Really enjoyed the stay.

The fanciest room I've every stayed in. This place was first class, even the room service. We had the one bedroom with the living room and bar. It had a beautiful dining table. The bathroom was huge. I felt like a movie star from the JFK era.

I selected the hotel for the New Orleans portion of a business tour around the Gulf Coast. My contact at the hotel, Melissa, was a prompt and thorough communicator and made the pre-trip preparations easy and seamless. The bell staff were very helpful and anticipated our group's needs well. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. If you're looking for something in the French Quarter, look no farther!
