My husband and I stayed at Estancia San Pascual for our 10-year wedding anniversary vacation, and it was the perfect mountain sanctuary that we were looking for. Totally off the beaten path, far away from the tourists and crowds. Our room was comfortable with a small private bathroom and a killer view of the mountains. The rest of the large log cabin was shared with the residents, but it was always quiet and peaceful. Eugenio was an amazing host, took us to a local farmers market our first night and helped us navigate our way around the language barrier. He made sure we were well taken care of our entire 10 days in Costa Rica. We even had a home-cooked meal one night! Lots of wonderful conversations on the awesome front porch. I fell in love with the dogs at the house, and they were my companions on my morning walks.
I would recommend Estancia San Pascual for nature lovers and those looking for something a little different and more "real" Costa Rica. You won't be disappointed!!
Amazing and perfect place to relax and enjoy nature! Walk down to the river 5 minutes and you will find toucans and sloths! The cabin is big and well equipated. Pool table and bar are great!
Really, there is so much to explore around this little slice of paradise! The hosts are so welcoming and make every effort to ensure you have an authentic experience, you feel like part of the family in no time. If requested meals can be shared and I've loved every creation, Costa Rican through and through. The history of the place is lovely to learn about and the town is full of life with at this time no tourists!
What a beautiful place to walk around...
Nice people, nice places to discover, quiet and save!!
It is a perfect place to spend some days with family or friends walking around.
just 1 km from the house you have a waterfall of 40 mt where you can enjoy having a bath in its pure water!!
