Mackwoods has the first black tea factory in Sri Lanka to be awarded ISO 90001:2000 Certification from SGS, UK and also obtained HACCP Certification in compliance with EU regulations. We provide a full range of unblended Single Estate Black Teas in different grades, as well as a full range Flavoured Teas, Infusions and Connoisseurs Teas including Silver Tips and Golden Tips. We are one of the few companies worldwide, who provide Single Estate Unblended Teas in a tea bag form. We are one of the few companies worldwide to be accorded the unique privilege of presenting our Connoisseurs Tea –“The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Blend”, created to commemorate Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee, at Buckingham Palace. We are committed to the environment and we have an extensive programme of replanting and reforestation. Our agro forestry reserves bear ample testimony to this. We are committed to our local community and provide housing, education programmes, crèches, recreation, health and religious facilities.
