What makes this place worth staying in is the breathtaking view around it.
They have a nice pool and delicious food ( our dinner was yum!).
The room is clean and the bed is covered with mosquito net so you can be safe during the night .
Few things must be said :
1. The shower and the rest room had a few ants so if you afraid of ants you should know that .
2. The road to get to the hotel is not suitable for car - take a Tuktuk.
3. Check the pool before getting in , you are in the middle of the jungle lol

The location the beauty and the staff makes this place unique. Highly recommend !

It’s very misleading to call this place a resort, it’s not even a hotel, it’s rather a motel or someone’s house converted to Airbnb.
If you’re attracted by the name. Read the rest of the feedback and review.

The location is terrific, but its access adventurous. Families should take care and would highly recommend 4WD. This is someone’s vacation house which lacks the necessary items and comfort that you would expect from a modern hotel.
There was no AC in the room, but the period we visited was just ok with a normal fan.

Prices are quite expensive compared to class facilities. The cleanness and comfort were not with the expectation.

There’s much to be done in this facility. If you’re someone from the city, seeking an adventure associated with risks and not bothered by a modern hotel amenities maybe this is suitable for you. Care should be taken for families and small children.

Nature is beautiful and if the rooms are the facility updated would provide an unforgettable experience.

Do not rush with the ‘high’ rating review. Read carefully the hotels ‘ information’ below and the rest of the visitors review.
Are you obsessed with safety and security? Find somewhere else. Do you want to experience a natural wilderness far from modern comfort and luxury? Go ahead.

I had travelled with 3 friends, and had booked the villa with private pool for 4500 Srilankan rupees per head on half board basis.
The day we checked out they show us a bill which shows 5000 Srilankan rupees per head.
I spoke to a person over the phone with whom I had made the reservation and paid an advance of 4000LKR, mobile no +94714001060, but he kept saying the charges are 5000 per head.
Really disappointed with this type of cheats.

I am attaching the email confirmation for LKR 4500 per head and a photo of the bill showing LKR 5000 per head.

From the email,
For 22nd our double rooms are booked. So if you would like you can book our villa with private pool for 4500 per head.
Please confirm the booking asap with an advance payment.

Thanks and Best Regards
Paradise Team

The view from this hotel is the best thing about it, high up on the hills overlooking rubber plantations. The sunset over the pool is stunning. Food was good over the two nights traditional curry, rice, popadoms, etc for dinner and only USD 10pp. The breakfast was a little average but the fresh fruit and tea were good. Two nights here is long enough as there isn’t much to do other than swim/walk/read. It is far from everywhere which may be considered a plus but we found it preferable to eat lunch out (KitugalaRest House lovely colonial setting on the river), you have to get a Taxi. Access road is long and a nightmare - 4km walk to the main road. Rooms are basic and a little uncomfortable, sadly they don’t serve gin & tonic!! All in all a positive experience.
