Naively we trusted the single high rating we saw on trip advisor. Staff spoke next to no English, the terrace looked nothing like advertised, there were no towels and no Wi-Fi. This was particularly difficult given we had a flight to check in for the following morning.
After requesting dinner from the 'hotel restaurant' we were ushered upstairs where we effectively crashed a movie night of the family who presumably own the hotel. Food was not cooked at the hotel as we were lead to believe it would be, but instead were given greasy takeaway and felt exceptionally uncomfortable dining with the family next to us.
To their credit the view was amazing and they helped organise an excellent rafting experience. However we felt misled by the description and photographs and instantly lost trust.
