This is a beautiful sprawling Japanese garden.
It is the largest Japanese-style garden in Shikoku, so take a few hours to explore all the nooks and cranies, admire beautiful flowers and intricately laid out paths. Certainly worth a visit during ume (Japanese plum) and iris seasons. Ume festival happens in February and iris is in May. Try local snacks such as jakoten (grilled fishcake) as well as a variety of local sweets.
Other festivals include azalea festival and momiji (autumn Japanese maple leaves) festival.
