My mum and I stayed here for 3 nights and we had an amazing time. The beautiful villas are simple and very homey, the outside bathroom is amazing, the best shower ever!
We had amazing views from our room and really enjoyed eating breakfast and dinners on our little balcony surrounded by the lush greenery of the jungle.
It is about a 15 min drive from Ubud centre which we loved as it was very tranquil and serene, and they provide free shuttles into Ubud centre each day or you can pay a small fee of $8 to be driven in if you require it at a different time to the scheduled shuttles, so very easy to get in and out of Ubud centre.
The infinity pool is beautiful and there are many great sights to see around the area.

One of the highlights for me was definitely the amazing staff! The nicest and most accommodating people you will ever meet, they just cannot do enough for you. Julie was the name of our driver who also took us on our tours, he was really lovely and made our trip extra special, we just loved him!

Will definitely be back! Great for those seeking adventure, some R&R, and the nature lovers!

My wife and I went on a five night Scoopon Voucher. Magnificent views, but that I'm afraid that is the only positive comment I can make. The accommodation was extremely basic, how anybody could describe it as luxurious is beyond my comprehension. The breakfasts while adequate, again was very very basic with very limited options. While the website states there is an onsite restaurant this is actually a misrepresentation. The food is bought in from an outside restaurant, and by the time you get it, it is cold. Again very limited options. After a having a shower and drying myself, the towel being so threadbare literally ripped apart. We did have a massage in our room, where my wife and I lay cross ways on the bed with the two massage girls on the bed as well. While quite an awkward situation the quality of the massage was very good. There were only two day beds by the pool, which couldn't be shifted, so hardly adequate for seven villas (huts). So give it a miss unless maybe you are young and adventures.

An amazing hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town. Yes, it's a 20min drive away from town, but we really loved the peaceful vibe of feeling like we were in the steamy jungle. We stayed in the Bamboo Villa which is simple but impressive. The pool was a welcome place to relax after days spent adventuring. Stay here if you have a sense of adventur.

This is paradise.
You are right in the tropical forest, with amazing views, birds singing and wonderful infinity pool. The setting is absolutely picturesque. The staff is lovely - they always make the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable.
Those people saying that the villa is not in the centre of Ubud - of course it's not. Don't you have google maps in your country? Nevertheless there is a free shuttle drop off and pick up to Ubud.
All in all - forever inlove in this place!

I bought 3 nights at this small property on Scoopon and checked the website and some reviews before making my decision to book. I feel that the website did not represent the property correctly and I am amazed reading the reviews now that I've been and feel that people should be warned. Firstly it is located far from Ubud (approx 15 km away) so should not be named DD Ubud Villas. The road to get there would be treacherous at night as well as the 87 steep muddy steps down to our 'villa'. Secondly 'villa' is a huge stretch as I would call the units huts or small chalets. Thirdly there is no restaurant (although it is stated as having one) and going to Ubud for dinner nightly would be impossible as I would not attempt those stairs in the pitch dark. The 'villa' we were booked into was made of bamboo so the air con and mosquito repellants would struggle to keep the room cool and mosquito free. I lived in Africa for 20 years so I'm not afraid of creepie crawlies and having large gaps in the bamboo slats like this in the middle of a mosquito infested jungle is NOT what we expected and prepared for and Dengue Fever is rife there. These 7 huts (all different to) would be fine for the adventurous traveller who wants the experience of solitude in the jungle as the setting was OK ....but would have to be at the right price. The rate was triple what we paid for a lovely 3 star hotel room in Seminyak with full buffet breakfast. The staff were lovely though and gave us a free transfer to Seminyak after we had secured a room to escape to. I have been in Travel Marketing for 22 years and the notion of underselling and over delivering is amiss here ...so some honest marketing to get the right people at the right price would be recommended to avoid more disappointed customers !
