Champlung mas is great value budget hotel, Carlos and his staff are amazing
Bar, restaurant and pool is very good.Price for room is good.Carlos the senior staff will help you all the time.Roof top pool was great.champlung mas hotel located at the central of Legian,. Definately recomended when budget is in mind

I think they advertise themselves as a 4 star hotel, it's certainly not. Photos as advertised are not reality. But I still gave them 4 stars, because price quality its certainly worth to stay there. Staff is friendly, rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily.
Unfortunately rooftop pool area is not that clean, also the water is not clear and clean. But I guess that's because most customers are drinking their beers and smoking their cigarettes while in the pool. I have seen beer bottles gone broken, so not really safe area to walk barefoot around swimming pool area.
Breakfast buffet is of good taste, one can order freshly baked omelets with bacon and many western and Asian choices.
Eaten once a local dish in their restaurant but was not that impressed about the taste.
Overall, recommended stay!

Great place to stay. friendly staff, clean
bed rooms,nice food, cold beers, great size rooms, stairs into both pools. Swim up bar Is always a must have . Full breakfast. Upstairs pool is lovely to watch the sunset. So close to Melasti St and Garlic lane.

I'd like to say a very big thankyou to all the people at Champlung Mas hotel who came to help me when I had a heart attack in the pool in the afternoon on the 3rd of September. To Helen and Ruth that tried to get me to the steps at the pool and to the big strong men that heaved me out of the water onto the deck. Sorry don't know any of your names. To my hero Steve that had just came back from shopping with his wife Julie and came to my aide to keep me alive long enought to get me to the Code Blue ambulance that wouldn't come down to the hotel and then to the hospital. A huge thankyou to my dear friend Gusti (Carlos) calling out to me to come back I could hear your voice and he visited me in hospital many times. So grateful to all the doctors and nurses that worked on me and were there keeping a close eye on me to make sure I was going to pull through. I spent 6 days in BIMC Bali hospital. A great big thankyou to my children who were able to come over to be with me and help me back home. I'm on the mend and staying with my daughter for a while back in Australia, more tests have to be completed.
Thankyou again Carlos for managing to find a room for my children in the hotel so they could be close to me when I left the hospital.

Booked this budget hotel not expecting much. Got a pleasant surprise. Rooms quite good and serviced daily, Pools good and clean. Only negative here, could have more tables around pools and lack of shade for roof top pool. The wifi can be a little ordinary, but is ok except for very busy times and I suspect the room air conditioning could struggle in hotter weather. All in all good value for money in my opinion. Staff all seem great.
