Hmmm, it’s a huge resort complex with private residences and the hotel rooms. It’s old and dated. There are three pools but there were so many people there it felt like being at the public suburban swimming pool. The pool lounges are very uncomfortable and drink prices are expensive. About all this place has going for it is a great location, in the heart of legian and right on the beach. Won’t be going back though there are much nicer places nearby for the same price.

We have stayed in several places in Bali and this would have to be my least favorite. It is clearly designed for Australians which I have nothing against. It is very busy so I found it lacked the personal touch of staff getting to know you. The rooms were very old but they were cleaned well. First place we have ever had to pay up front on the first day and put down a $100 deposit for any food or drinks that may be purchased and put on our room. Not worth the price, average hotel overall so don't be fooled by the photos. We originally booked into a private 2 bdrm apartment but it was so far away from the resort amenities we cancelled and paid for rooms in the resort instead. WARNING The Tiles Around the Pool are EXTREMELY slippery!!

A great place to stay

Great resort grounds on the seafront. Attentive staff, 3 pools and a couple of restaurants. Probably aimed more at couples with children. Rooms were small but adequate. Buffet breakfasts were excellent.

Green quite hotel in busy Legian

Me and my family stayed 4 nights in Jayakarta. We stayed in Deluxe room which supposed to be 42 sq.m. but I think it's smaller. Double bed supposed to be 180x200 cm but it was smaller even receptionist told us it is 180 width. The staff could be more friendly, only cleaners and gardeners showed Balinese smile.
The hotel has nice looking green garden and it was nice to back to the hotel from the busy Legian area.

There are plenty of better resorts for less money

Apart from the grounds looking nice, there is nothing else about this place that will make for a nice holiday experience.

I paid for a deluxe room and I can assure you there was nothing deluxe about it. The 4 star rating should be 2 star. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower had either cold water or hot water, never both together. It had a hand held shower head and when it was in the wall bracket it would point in every direction other than where I wanted it to go.

Twice i asked staff to come and remove the gecko's from my room and both times they didn't bother turning up.

Honestly I cant be bothered to list all my bad experiences at this place. If you have to spend more money to stay elsewhere do it because atleast you will have an enjoyable break.

Beware

Don’t be fooled by the description of the Jayakarta, the place is disgusting.
Left after a 4 days into 10 day stay.
If you enjoy rude staff, unhygienic accommodation, being accosted by street walkers at the entrance, overpriced food and drink, then this is the place for you! Don’t expect any refund for unused portion of stay if you do happen to leave early.
Book it and beware !!!
