This is the first time I have stayed at the Jayakarta. The Hotel is situated on the Beach and close to many restaurants and cafes.
All staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was Average in a great location by the pool. The food variety wasn't large, however enough variety to fuel the body.
Pool area was large with umbrellas for shade. The pool closest to the beach had shade from about 3.30pm from large trees. The pools were cleaned each day and looked great. The pool tiles surrounding were a little slippery when wet.
the wifi had great coverage in the room and around the resort without having to re log-in.
My Deluxe Room room on the second floor was very comfortable. Their was plenty of storage and hanging space. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was nice and hot. The vanity had plenty of space to place your amenities. The room had a comfy chair and footstool to sit and relax reading.
The rooms air con worked well. Your also didn't need a card in a slot for it to operate.
The room was serviced by 10.00am each day.
The only negatives were;
The TV's in the room were old CRT (not Flat Screen) and obviously not HD. The TV on occassion lost its tuning and had to be re-tuned. It didn't have a lot of choice of western Channels. No CNN, Australia Plus, Crime Investigation, Discovery (only Animal Planet).
I went to the BBQ nite 150,000 Rupiah (A$15). I found it disappointing. The food was average and salads were not replenished often.
Some of the pool furniture need replacing / maintenance. The backrests were small and not supportive of the head / neck, i.e. not very comfortable.
All in all the Hotel was priced well and I would stay here again.
