Location was great close to everything. The rooms were new and everything worked as designed. Check in was good. The water is Bali is not drinkable so we used the large bottle on the bench for coffee and tea and was charge $6 each for a $1.20 bottle. It is a disgrace to charge for water at 300% above retail. This needs to change. Demand free water before booking.

Room tip: Demand free water as they charge a lot per bottle. Thieves.

This place is in a great location and appears to be OK from the outside. Once you take a closer look you will see it needs a makeover.
The staff are quite attentive and smile every time you pass and they did manage to fix the air-con when asked.
Our major concern was that they charged us 120K Rupiah for two bottles of water!
When we questioned them about the excessive price the guy told us to complain on Tripadvisor as he agreed the price was too high. No amount of complaining by us made any other impact and we left the hotel very disgruntled.
JUST BE WARNED WATER IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PETROL HERE!
Would not go again and will warn all my friends on this establishment.

Room tip: drink the beers in the mini bar as they are cheaper than the water

Pros:
1) Location - beach front.
2) 1 bedroom suite is spacious.

Cons:
1) Mattress is heavily used hence is too soft and super uncomfortable.
2) Towels only replenished at night. Housekeeping took the used towels when they made up the room in the day hence this was totally strange to me. Does this mean we cannot shower at 6pm cos no towels in the room???
3) No separation between shower area and sink hence floor will get wet. Not safe to use the hair dryer when floor is wet.
4) Pool is too deep. All along pool is 1.65m.
5) Building needs refurbishment. Looks old and dreadful.
6) Breakfast spread is limited. Breakfast starts at 7am but some food served at 7.30am.
7) The sop bontot we had at The Deck had a piece of plastic in it. We initially waited 30 mins for it to arrive but when we informed the staff, they took away the sop claiming they will give us a new one but return to us within 5 mins, which meant all they did was to remove the plastic piece and served me the same sop.

Nothing exclusive about this hotel. Will not recommend at all.

We arrived only to find that our room had been given to someone else and wouldn’t be available until the next day.
We were given two different reasons, by 2 different people, for this error, so were lied to by someone.
We were given a room, but were told that we would have to vacate this by check out time the following morning.
3 people said they would contact the manager and get back to us, and after no contact we found the manager, who was not prepared to offer us any compensation other than a free breakfast.
The booking was made 10 months prior, extremely disappointing to know that a booking made so far in advance could not be accommodated.
Would not recommend this service to anyone.

This was my first visit to Furama after walking past in many times in the past but it won’t be my last.
The standard hotel rooms are HUGE and each has its own sitting/outdoor area.
I stayed in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment which had a living area, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bathroom in between the bedrooms. We were lucky enough to be poolside on the ground floor. I thought it might be hard to sleep given we were so close to the pool but it was absolutely fine.
The hotel is clean, the breakfast views are stunning over the looking the beach and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area has enough sunbeds for everyone.
The location was amazing – just a 2 minute walk to the bean bag beach bars. Would recommend!
