We enjoyed our stay there so much. Of course you have to pay two times (20k in total) before you arrive at the beach but it wasn't to much and it was definitely worth it. Beautiful beach with lots of beach chairs (15k for renting). The warungs are cheap, food is good and the view is great. Also snorkeling (50k) is possible there. Maybe it's not the most beautiful snorkeling spot but it's still worth it. Only all natives want to make money with you. So just say "no thank you" to everyone and everything will be fine.
We would definitely come again and enjoy the beach, the waves and the beautiful view.

Thank SophiaMatthiasGerdes

We visited the beach; also called Virgin beach; as we were advised to have lunch there. Once you pay the entrance Great, you will be greeted by restaurant owners who will offer free sunbeds and showers with the meal. The beach is a GEM . The waves were really nice so we enjoyed it a lot and water extremely clear. The restaurants are serving all sorts of food and their famous Mahi Mahi fish can be an addiction
Better to plan one day to visit the water palaces and this beach together

Amazing to see this beautiful beach on this vulcanic island. Heavy waves and great temp in the sea. And i love the charming fish boats behind the beach. Lots of restaurants and sunbeds.

You have to make a little climb downhill but it is definitely worth it (part of the experience). The beach is beautiful and not very crowded. There are (of course) merchandisers trying to sell you beach jewelry and massages. The kids (and us too) loved the big waves. We did not snorkel here but we would do that if we were here a second time. Apparently you can spot 5 sea turtles here.

Great Beach, good food and minimal hustle for wares/massages. Waves can quickly become dangerous.... but the local warung owners dive in to help endangered tourists. Worth the fee of 10 000 - once on the road and another 10 000 at the enterence of the Beach.
