Great place for a nice weekend!
Room service is nice and food is also decent. Stay comes with a complimentary visit to the associated water park. The water is simple and has some nice ride. Overall it is good place for a semi adventurous weekend., Apart from the reputed water park, the resort also has a lot of other luxury amenities and offerings to showcase!

Worst hotel, ambience and service ever experienced. We asked the staff to book the hotel for 2 days. But after one day the receptionist told us to vacate the room as they had confirmed room for other at higher rate, they were very arrogant. The complimentry food was not good, they were behaving as if they were serving free food.

The room was not cleaned for new occupants, the towels used by previous occupants were still lying in the room untill we vacated. The dustbin was also not emptied, the empty alcohol bottles were still in the dustbin making the room smelly. Bedsheets were dirty !!

Overall i would give a rating of -infinity!!

We had been there in Dec 2017. We were group of around 12 and opted for the package which included room and all meals which was a big mistake. The rooms were good. Complimentary breakfast menu was good. Staff at the water park cafe was rude. When we complained about this, manager he apologised and assured this would not happen in future. We were offered a chef's special Dahi kadi as a compensation that night. The kadi was very delicious. We had lunch at the restaurant which has lousy staff. Though there were three waiters present they did not offer even water when we took our seats. Coming to our mistake, the lunch menu in the package was very limited and with lots of restrictions. There was total confusion while serving the food ordered, with the soup coming last, roti served without sabji. Bad experience and waste of money. There are better places in Lonavala.

To start with the quality of food there was nothing to complain about that. But the person taking orders was not less than a amnesia patient, as every time we give an order he forgets it, and greets like zombie and has no expression on the face. And every time we ask him about the previous order he has a puzzled expression on his face. We ordered a soup following the main course. Main course came in first and that too only roti and no sabji, we odered a paneer sabji he bought a sabji of his choice as he had forgot our order. After we started with our main course in the midway came the soup which we had ordered first and we had to keep our main course aside and have our soup first.

The rooms were decent enough, but there were no towels kept in the washroom, even after several reminders they provided us with the towels the next morning only. And of course the corridor was clean, but while passing through the corridor there was a strech where you every time get a odour of cigarette smoke non stop, and that near guest residing rooms which was the worst part of the resort.

Same was in the case of water park changing room it was untidy and even there some one was constantly smoking. You have to wear a mask and enter into the toilet (changing room) as there is no ventilation in there for the smoke to get out. We even complained regarding this to them, but nothing happened.

Overall not worth for your money.
NOT RECOMMEND.

The Kumar Resort has a lot of activities in one place.You have a water park for the kids who can also engage in gaming.It has a delightful outdoor sort of cafe where you can watch the Highway traffic as you indulge in coffee and leisure.The Fish Spa is unique as Doctor Fish nibble at your toes and give you a ticklish massage.Its a lovely way to spend a Sunday
