The location and setting right on the beach was beautiful as is what i saw of Kerala, but the resort is somewhat let down by the cleanliness of the rooms. My room was a first floor a/c room but unfortunately pidgeons had made a loft in the roof and their droppings and noise were unacceptable as both came through the wooden 'chalet' style roofing. The curtains, bedding and bathroom were also in desperate need of a total overhaul. What i couldn't fault was the incredible massages and care from Leela my assigned therapist, which totalled between 3-4 hrs dailyof total bliss! The food was delicious and although it was vegetarian, it was varied and plentiful. It was sometimes on the cold side and unfortunately the dishes were not always cooked to the time you ate but neverthless it was good, preservative, chemical FREE tasty food.
I would recommend the Panchakarma treatment but I think 14 days is long enough.
Joy/Santosh - please update the rooms as this resort could be fabulous!
