We stayed here one night part of our safari program after a long day at Tarangire national park.
We were greeted by the entire team and the manager at the hotel entrance with big smiles.
It was the beginning of the season in junr and we practically had the entire place for us.
It was the needed escape into nature, almost zero connectivity. One big central area with luxury netted tents surrounding the main area.
Our tent had a beautiful view towards the bush and we had a great sunset.
It had one big terrace and inside a large comfortable bed with an indoor toilet and shower.
All what we needed was provided and we were treated to some fruits and a bottle of wine for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the sunset on our terrace.
Dinner time was in the main area with a set 3 course menu which was delicious. And service was quick and efficient.
We even were served nibles before dinner by the fire.
The next day we asked for a wake up call and coffee to the tent.
We had it and they brought us a thermos with brewes coffee (coffee is not good anyway in tanzania in general, very diluted)
Breakfast was decent, can be more large selection. But since we left super early they packed breakfast for us. And greeted us all on the way out.
Great escape to nature.

The setting was beautiful especially because of recent rains. Kikoti Safari Camp was extremely nice in a sophisticated African style as were the elevated rooms. Our food was delicious and was served by a friendly and gracious staff. I highly recommend Kikoti Safari Camp to anyone who is interested in visiting Tanzania!

The Patel family outdoes themselves with luxury accommodations on the other side of the Tarangire. This special place is for the discerning safari traveler that wants to get away from the crowd and relishes the beauty of Tanzania. Hospitality is evident in everything the staff does. The family loves and cherishes all that is beautiful in this country

14 friends on a 10 day trip to Tanzania spent 2 nights here. The host Mr. Patel, a 7th generation africaneer from India has a warm and inviting lodge. The raids tented room was great and the food was marvelous. Mary, the chef, prepared great meals for us and surprised us with a mid day lunch among the animals in the middle of the park. Don't miss the beautiful cabana where you will enjoy a great sunset with Maasai tribe members welcoming you with several tribal dances. We saw so many elephant and giraffes but also lions, hippos and leopards. The weather was perfect in March. Highly recommend Tanzania and this camp in particular.

Kikoti Safari Camp was warm and welcoming! I loved the atmosphere, campfire, the food was excellent, and the chalet was awesome! I could hear the animals at night (zebra, hyena) and the air was perfect! The chalet had hot water, the bed was very comfortable, and the lounge area was beautifully decorated. The staff are so friendly and we enjoyed our time with Mr. Patel, who I got to know and learn so much from him.

Room Tip: They are all excellent chalets!
