Owner description: Known for its massive annual plantings and bronze sculpture, this 7.5-acre garden is a popular and relaxing retreat. A Wedding Gazebo adds an air of elegance, a man-made re-circulating stream provides texture, movement and sound, and a Sensory Garden engages visitors in an interactive landscape experience. A variety of sculpture placed throughout the garden provides artistic and historic interest. The garden is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.

My family and I were attending our church's General Assembly, and after service decided to visit "Bog Garden," also known as "Bicentennial Gardens." Our services were in Brown Summit, NC, so it was only a 15 mile drive to Greensboro to visit the gardens. Although there is very limited parking and there was a wedding taking place on the grounds, the gardens were WELL WORTH the trip! FREE admission and bathrooms on the premises. FANTASTIC place for a casual stroll/exercise, all on paved walkways and a GREAT place for photography lovers! Lots of statues, plants (including banana trees!), and even a small stream. Very clean and well maintained! Hope to visit again soon!
