Wished it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the balony more. The front desk was very helpful when we asked a good place to eat. Our room was always cleaned each day. Only complaint I have is the bathroom counter top was so small. We never stayed in our room very much anyway. Perfect location, close to everything and if it wasn't the trolley was nearby to take. Would come again next year.Breakfast was okay.

First time staying here at this hotel. It's been great. Location is great. Creek side king size bed room is nice. Good breakfast. Didn't use the pool due to cool weather. Like I said my husband and I are never in our room during the day so we didn't need fancy. So if your like us I recommend here. Rooms are clean and pretty big.

When we head to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, we always stay at the Greystone Lodge at the Aquarium. The location is located near the center of town, right next to Ripley's Aquarium and also the main trolley route station. It is easy to get in and out of this location with the traffic light, so many hotels you need to drive right out on the street across sidewalk and it can take forever to get out, very easy and safe at this location. Every morning they have a very nice continental breakfast, fruit, cereral, juices, biscuits and gravy, and coffee. The rooms are always clean, some hotels do have newer fixtures but this location offers clean rooms, mini fridge in room, pool, balconies, just can't beat the cost or location. We always love to stay in the rooms off from the main section, on the ground level. We can't actually see the stream but our room opens up to the back near the stream and on the stretch of grass ducks and squirrels come and feed, and the kids get the biggest kick out of watching them. I love being able to stay parked and walk to wear I want, and if I get tired, we are close to our hotel to rest or freshen up. Looking forward to our next visit!

Room Tip: If you like to park right in front of your room, and don't mind an outside door, you want rooms near numbers 111 and lower.

We stayed in a standard king size smoking room. We were overlooking the parking lot rather than the river, but we didn't mind - we are people watchers! For it to be a smoking room you could not smell smoke at all. The rooms are dated and could use some updating, but everything was very clean. Housekeeping does a fantastic job. Everyone we met was so pleasant and happy. I don't think I ran into anyone on staff who wasn't smiling or laughing. We met a lovely lady in the main lodge who told us the history of Greystone Lodge and showed us some old photographs. You really can't beat the location. You are right next door to the aquarium and a trolly stop.

Room Tip: There is no wifi in the rooms - you have to go to the lobby - however, we were able to find a signal if we sat at the table near the window from another location.
