Description: Casual Dining in Downtown Gatlinburg, TN Blaine's Grill & Bar is located on the site originally known as Rebel Corner which burned down July, 1992. The fire destroyed one whole city block, owned by Mr. Smith's family. Home from college for the summer, Kirby watched the block burn to the ground, and then left college to help his family rebuild the block. He decided to open a restaurant/night club where Rebel Corner originally stood. Blaine's Grill and Bar was established January 1998 by Kirby Smith. Mr. Smith descended from one of the original Gatlinburg families & has lived in Gatlinburg all his life. Mr. Smith opened Ronnie Milsap's Keyboard Cafe, January 1995 which he ran under this name until January 1998 where he converted to Blaine's Grill & Bar, striving for a more modern, fun place to come as opposed to the previous country theme. Blaine's Grill and Bar has been a great location for the past ten years for restaurant goers. Our menu serves a great variety of freshly prepared meals and has one of the best views of the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg.

So many restaurants to choose from along the parkway in Gatlinburg. This was a good choice. Menu was typical pub fare, but very good. Salads were very good. Service was great. Food came fast after ordering. Full bar. Prices reasonable.

We ate a late supper and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. They had a nice variety from sandwiches to pasta. Service and food were both good.

Food and atmosphere was great. The earlier Alberto was super friendly and really fast. I really like the text when my table read ready.

During spring break we made the mistake of trying to walk in at 7pm with no reservations, our bad..it was jammed, so we figured it had to be good and that we would return. We did, after a day hike we walked in at 5pm starving. We were seated immediately by the bartender, in a booth in the bar after we optioned sitting outside on the 3d floor deck, it was getting cold. Kind of an old saloon atmosphere, high ceilings, Irish memorabilia, and LOTS of stairs!!! From the lobby it was 3 floors up to the bathrooms. There is an elevator I discovered later, but not in plain sight and it comes out a block up from the lobby..kinda weird..Service was good as bar was not crowded yet. Small menu, mostly burgers, beer and bar food, my patty melt on rye was heaven, and the other burgers and hot fries were just what we needed after a long day in the park. Keep expectations to a minimum here and you won't be disappointed, but if you want a great burger, I highly recommend.
