Small, local Polish place. Limited atmosphere, service is passable as one person runs the room, handles phone orders and pickups.

Good value and solid, sturdy polish dishes. No credit card, so bring cash.

We met my cousins and aunt here for lunch. They could not, or did not want to, accommodate a party of 6 people. We had to sit 3 people at different tables. The restaurant was very, very small. The food was good, not the best I've had, and the owner/server had no personality… The best part was I was able to charge my dying iPhone in one of the outlets under the table.

The place does not look like much from the outside but step inside and you'll find a cozy decor and some delicious polish homemade food. I went with 2 other people and we tried a number of soups and dishes including the Polish platter which included a bit of several specialties. Everything was good. The portions were generous. The restaurant only has a few tables so be prepared to wait a bit if you go during peak time. The place is cash only.

We had the address of this restaurant and were right in front of it but could not believe how small it is. We took a subway there and it is a short walk from the subway. It is a small, friendly restaurant in which the food is fresh and presented in large portions. Be prepared for HOT food arriving to your table. Service was satisfactory as this one gentleman had the entire dining room. Each of us received a vegetable, appetizer plate with a pickle and various types of cole slaws (red cabbage, slaw, sauerkraut, etc). They were very good and nearly a meal in itself. I had the Polish sampler. The kielbasa was incredible as it was grilled and there was little fat. The pierogis were fried and not my favorite. The stuffed cabbage was excellent. Bigos was included as well as a very plain, dry mashed potato portion. You will not leave hungry.

Tips: Bring cash. Also, try to sit nearer the front door was there was a good take out business and some patrons may be standing and staring at your food when you eat! Also, the prices quoted on their website are not accurate-- but still a good deal.
