Well worth the effort of getting down town on the subway , you can take a great stroll over the bridge to Brooklyn and get some of the best views in the city , just watch out cyclists they are a menace....

“cold walk, but worth it!”
Reviewed 6 April 2012

It was rainy and cold, but got great views of the skylines, and the chance to really see the bridge, which is spectacular engineering specimen!

“With work also wheelchair accessible”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

Done this on foot several times. Evening stroll is a must. Ventured over from manhattan to dumbo (Grimaldi's). 2/3 if the way is upwards leaving manhattan. 1/3 on the way back as it turned out which was nice after a few glasses of wine. I prefer the views and stroll to that seen atop the rock and empire buildings. Must do when in NYC, even if pushing a broken spouse (lifting the chair is required at both ends up flights of stairs)

“Don't get the hype.....”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

Hey, sorry, but it is an old, rickety bridge in a dirty old city. Nothing special at all. Who would REALLY want to buy it???

“Great way to see the city”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is a free and easy way to see the Manhattan skyline. Make sure you stay to the left, as bicyclists are seriously pedalling and have no patience for wandering walkers.
