This is a very mixed review. If I could I'd rate this a 3.5... the salsa was very disappointing. Salsa is critical to a good Mexican restaurant. I had to add salt... It really tasted like something out of a can. The margaritas we're just ok... The margarita mix was too sweet and had an odd flavor. The street tacos were very food... The pork was especially delicious. The tacos are a win... Just take your own salsa.

Definitely one of the best places we ate while in Savannah. A must is the made to order gaucamole. It was great! The salads are super fresh, and the tacos are good too. The wait can get pretty long so plan ahead or grab a seat at the bar.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Quickly seated and quickly served. Even though I wouldn’t associate Mexican food with Savannah, one of my favorite places we’ve been. Four of us ate for a steal and you get decent sized portions. I can’t find many places that have sopes so I was excited to see that on the menu. Table side guacamole was fun and delicious.

The food here is excellent with a great attention deal. Have a Mexican beer with your enchiladas and say gracias to the friendly staff.

It was after 9pm, we were window shopping on Broughton Street when the food bug hit us. We went to Tequila’s Town on Whitaker. There was a crowd, but we got a table. As soon as we sat down a waitress brought hot crispy, not greasy, chips and two bowls of fresh salsa. I ordered a beer, it was truly ice cold. Too often you get a cooled off beer somewhere. Not at TT. This beer was just short of freezing! Jorge, our waiter recommended the Molcajete. It sounded good. Shrimp, steak, and chicken served in a oven hot bowl. We ordered mild. When the Molcajete arrived we knew it was special. The two inch thick bowl carved from volcanic stone held a bubbling hot mixture of constantly bubbling red soup with shrimp, steak, and chicken. It was piping hot to the last drop. Get this to share! The Molcajete is served with soft tortillas. We ordered a side of rice to capture every drop! Great Mexican!
