Everything was great and that is so rare for me to say that!!!! Had the meatloaf, collard greens and corn pudding and banana pudding for dessert. So glad we visited. Recommended by a local.

Eight women in my Gabby Gourmets group decided to go here to celebrate a birthday last week, at the specific request of the "Birthday Girl". We went for lunch on a weekday, and had a great table, with no waiting. Most of the women ordered the Daily Special (Fried Chicken with Baked Mac & Cheese), although a few went a bit healthier with fish and veggies or the huge wedge salad. Highly recommend, especially for a group of friends.
Important: the restaurant is moving soon, so call ahead to make sure you're headed to the correct address.

Nope. Never again. Just a bad day I guess. Waited TOO long. Sorry we missed it. The waiter had his hands full. Hostess seemed stressed out. A to go order was wrong. We had to get our own menus. Trying Bow Tie BBQ across the street....

Our family stopped here for lunch on our recent trip to Savannah. The menu is southern with many dishes featuring a modern twist. We noticed lots of pecans on the menu, so we alerted the waitress to dd's pecan allergy and she checked with the chef on all our items, which is greatly appreciated. Dd and I got the freshwater fried catfish, hubs tried the meatloaf with the peach glaze. Catfish tasted very fresh and the breading was excellent. The meatloaf was definitely not the traditional recipe we are used to, but we both loved it. We enjoyed the sides: collard greens, green beans, and rice. We couldn't have dessert unfortunately due to the nut allergy. Staff was very friendly and food was out quick. Definitely recommend!

Delicious down-home Southern cooking off the beaten path from downtown. The sides were succulent - we had corn pudding and baked mac and cheese. The service was friendly, attentive and kept the sweet tea flowing. The cornmeal-encrusted catfish and the pecan-encrusted chicken had us licking our chops. The banana pudding - loaded with fresh bananas and enrobed in pecans and vanilla wafers - maybe the best on the planet. Glad we took the plunge and took the ride to eat at Sweet Potatoes; you will be too
