Owner description: One of America's oldest seaports dating from the 1600s is today an important landmark and popular tourist destination. Park your car and follow the brick promenade through this bustling complex of eateries, stores, museums, entertainment and children's attractions. Sample the fresh seafood right out of Chesapeake Bay.

Touristy, but nice, clean safe and plenty to look at. Historic buildings, souvenir shopping and restaurants abound. Prices are a bit high, as expected. We had a great afternoon walking around seeing all the unique things Baltimore has to offer.

The inner harbor is an area of restaurants, shopping, attractions and condominiums in the waterfront center of Baltimore. The city aquarium is there as well as several museums. You can also tour three boats and a lighthouse. The boats include a mothballed coast guard vessel that was the last surviving boat from Pearl Harbor, a submarine and a lightship. I did not visit them, but it looked fun. The USS Constellation, the last tall ship built without steam power, is also available for a separate tour.

I liked the brick sidewalk that went for miles and I had about a two hour walk around the area watching runners, a wedding party there for pictures, and several street performers. It was a lot of fun and I would recommend visiting if you find yourself in Baltimore.

Went to the Gallery and browsed the shops, then crossed the lit bridge and got take-out at the Cheesecake Factory. The aquarium is across from the parking garage that leads to the Gallery of shops. There are ships and a parking area at the harbor. Nice area for shopping and going to the aquarium or eating out!

This is Baltimore's center piece--the harbor is surrounded by premiere attractions such as the Maryland Science Center, the National Aquarium, the World Trade Center, the historic ship Constellation, and many others within walking distance, along with a variety of popular restaurants and shops. The water taxi is fun for traveling around the harbor area.
