The restaurant bases their menu on seasonal availability of fresh ingredients. They have a very extensive wine menu as well. Good food, wine and servie

“Great concept, average execution”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

We were eager to try one of the hottest new restaurants in Jacksonville. The concept is great... every menu item under 475 calories (and dessert 250, I think) with the menu changing seasonally.

Well... We went late on a Thursday night in order to avoid the weekend dining wait times we have heard about. After being seated with a menu we waited several minutes to order a drink and appetizer. After those items came to the table the waiter did not stick around to take our dinner order so we waited several minutes to flag him down to order dinner. When he took that order he rushed off not asking us if we needed more drinks (didn't even bring water) and left the menu and dirty dishes on the table even after we paid the check.

We had the stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer which were bland with a funky cheese aftertaste. My boyfriend had the garlic chicken flatbread which had no flavor and I had the spicy chicken chile relleno which was decent but definitely not spicy. I did order one of their signature desserts which I was very pleased with for the taste, price and caloric content.

This place should open up a dessert bar so you can go and enjoy a meal elsewhere and just come here for dessert. This way you can avoid waiting up to 90 minutes for a table, eating a bland dinner or having to worry about inattentive waitstaff.

“Fresh, Reasonable, Cool, Tasty, Friendly”
Reviewed 10 March 2012

My daughter guided us to eat here.It was really terrific. Very popular place in JAX. We ate with the blue hairs at about 5:30 and by the time we were finished the place was packed. I had the trout. Outstanding. I like fresh fish and this was done perfectly. The girls were very happy. We had some nice wine. the staff was top-notch. Go there, you'll like it.

“Previous reviews aren't exaggerating”
Reviewed 7 March 2012

We shared a "taco" flatbread, then each had a perfectly fresh and lightly dressed salad, one with chicken and the other with lemongrass salmon. The mini desserts, red velvet and pecan pie, were delicious.

Our server, was helpful, efficient and knowledgeable.

Can't wait to go back.

“A bit pricy but delicious.”

Very good food and a very friendly and helpful server. Everything was fresh and healthy. Healthy and delicious aren't two words typically seen in the same sentence.
