Outstanding French bouillabaisse with fresh white fish, mussels, scallops, clams...very good indeed.
Les Tajines (Chicken) is very good, soft and tender over a bed of couscous, olives & vegetables. Pan Roasted Quail is quite generous in size as an appetizer. Perfectly cooked, tender meat and full of flavor.
Got the dark chocolate cake for dessert...heavenly with a cup of French Press Coffee. Very fortunate to have dinner on a Wednesday, 3-course dinner was only $35...definitely a bargain. So we indulge ourselves with their awesome cocktail drinks.

Parking may seem difficult if you plan on using 9th St. There is ample parking spot for Italian Market customers along Carpenter St.

Great staff who took care of us pretty nicely.

We were giving a tour of the Italian market and stumbled onto this find. We had a delicious lunch. The menu is varied and fun. This is a great lunch or dinner place and the bar is opened till after midnight for a late drink.

Interesting location on 9th Street Italian Market. Wanted to like this place as quirky, however servers knew absolutely nothing about the menu, were a little dismissive and worse of all the food was both bland and totally uninspiring. Its a big miss and a big shame.

We love trying different foods and get very bored with the usual places and this restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. Many interesting new flavors but nothing to exotic that my kids wouldn't eat. Staff was very attentive and accommodating with my kids. I did go very early on a Sunday night, I try not to impose my sometimes loud toddler on other quiet diners. I loved this restaurant and look forward to returning.

We started out with cocktails that seemed to please everyone. Two of us had the "Airmail", which is rum, lime juice, honey & champagne; lovely, kind of like a "bees knees". Appetizers; Moroccan Salad was refreshing but too much spinach, we tried the special Lamb Sausage Ragu on toast; we all loved the ragu sauce more than the lamb sausage which was a bit too mealy. The bulger-crusted oysters were disappointingly bland. The boeuf bouguignon tagine was so tender and tasty but I wished it had been a tad more flavorful, a little lacking in spices. The bouillabaisse included whitefish & swordfish which were slightly overcooked. The star of the main courses was the Spicy Braised Goat Leg; which I'd ordered it! It was luscious and deep and moist. We did save some room for dessert; the apple tart was enormous, tasty and warm. The chocolate cake with caramel sauce was amazing and quickly devoured by all. The restaurant is painted a lovely red, warm and friendly atmosphere only enhanced by the humor and good-nature of the staff. Although not every dish was terrific, we'd all happily return to work our way through the menu.
