There isn’t much you can say about this historic landmark that hasn’t already been said throughout two centuries.

Definitely go online and pay the $1.50 per ticket to reserve your time slot in advance. Tours sell out EARLY on the day of.

Nice for kids if they’re studying history. It’ll give them a visual up close & personal. Besides that this is a snooze factory. Line is long too! Ppl wait hours to see the bell. Skip the line and look at it from the glass outside. Your not missing anything by going in.

We saw Hamilton in Seattle on a Sunday then flew to Philadelphia on Monday to see, here, "The Room Where It Happened". Chills.

Well worth seeing, and in our case (and I'm sure all) informatively hosted by a ranger with both a sense of humor and real reverence for the importance of this beautiful, well-preserved building.

Don't miss it!

I visited Independence Hall while chaperoning my son's middle school trip. It is really amazing to actually visit this place where the nation was born. The tours are well done, and do a good job of conveying the historical significance of the site. I strongly recommend.
