From the outside this hotel looks quite grand. The lobby is very inviting and well done. My issue is with the room. It was very clean, spotless, in fact, however there is a lot left to be desired. The bed was super firm, very firm, to the point of discomfort. Also, something I hadn't experienced before, the comforter was too small! My husband and I were "fighting" for the comforter. That was a little odd. Also, the toilet could not have been louder. Other than that it was good. The hotel is located right next to the Reading Market Terminal, which was very nice because you could pick up just about anything to eat. Lots of energy throughout the Terminal. It was a nice sight to see. We spent the day at the zoo only a $15 cab ride, and well worth the visit. That night we had an incredible dinner at Maggiano's across the street. It is a franchise, but a good one!
I would not stay here again, unless they offer a more comfortable bed!

We have a very nice time here as we attended a big event at the convention center. One great thing was that we could walk indoors all the way to the convention center and that was really nice since it was cold out. The concierge sent us to a great restaurant and the staff took excellent care of us. A little disappointed that there was no microwave to heat up our delicious leftovers.

We stayed in 2 different locations in Philadelphia. This one in Center City and the other near the airport. Both had costly extras. Wifi and parking is costly at both. However, this hotel will save you on public transportation because it is so centrally located. It also will cost you to use the "airport shuttle". The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. If I had to do it again I would have paid the extra money to stay here in the center of Philadelphia then doing the airport location. I also would have chosen a lower end hotel that had more of the extras included in the hotel room fees.
