I’m a bit frustrated by this stay. The room was decent. Bed reasonably comfortable and actually had fluffy pillows. The hot tub is on the deck w a nice view of the slopes.

Now the frustration:
The TVs have this annoyingly bright logo that scream at you all night. So you have to put something in front to block that glaring light. But then to use the tv you have to move that item to allow the signal for the remote to work.

The hot tub deck is not serviced when it snows so you dangerously walk on ice in/out of the tub in freezing temps.

The towels are like those terrible (small) gym towels that make you think sandpaper may work better! They’re at no risk of someone stealing these!!! And the size would be appropriate for an infant - but a grown adult, no way!!

The desk - well, some are nice and some are just plain blunt. Our keys kept erasing - so at midnight or anytime after the desk closes - you have to call them and wait for them to help. 3x our keys went mute and her reply - “don’t keep it next to your cel phone.” Really? I don’t get how you can leap to that assumption - and for the record - my key wasn’t in contact w my cel. It was in totally different pockets - thank you for asking ;)

The internet - well they do have WiFi and its good enough to send an email. But anything more seems a task.

Location - the location is good for canyon lodge. If you need to get to the village or anywhere else after 5pm - your stuck to your own transportation or taxi.

Old and nothing fancy but the bed was comfy and the b'fast is really nice - lots of choices including meats/cheeses. Across from the village so SUPER convenient. I'd stay again. The restaurant/bar Petra's is excellent. Clocktower downstairs is rowdy and young but . .fun.

Room Tip: I stayed in a suite of some sort - separate pool building - kitchenette and great b/c lots of room and quiet.

Great rooms, great service, great location! The lodge is walking distance from Canyon lodge (chair lifts) and a mile away from The Village. Complimentary breakfast was tasty...breakfast burritos, bagels, yogurt, coffee & OJ, etc.. Employees were welcoming and friendly too. Rooms are big and homey. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm skiing at Mammoth.

Room Tip: Rooms away from check-in area are best
