“Inexpensive and comfortable, but very dated”
Reviewed 24 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We needed a rental unit that would accommodate a group of 9, and this fit the bill without breaking the bank! We knew it was outdated (based on the accurate photos of the condo), and overall had a good experience there.

Pros:
- Enough beds for 9 (3 couples, and 3 single people), but one of the rooms is quite small with 3 beds in there (bunk bed, and pull-out trundle). Because of the tight quarters, one person from that room opted to sleep on the couch.
- Very close to Red Line Mammoth shuttle (stop #5). Because it's one of the first stops, you are almost guaranteed to get on the bus before it fills up on the way to the mountain (there are 18 or stops total on shuttle route, so the bus fills up quickly the further down the line you are).
- 2 dedicated parking spots for this unit, and plenty of overflow parking if you have more than 2 cars

Cons:
- The condo itself is very outdated as far as decor and furnishings.
- Shower curtain in upstairs bathroom has a mildew smell
- Small things were broken and not repaired (such as door stoppers in bathroom, and headboard on upstairs bed).
- Because of the heavy snow this winter, the roof had warped and there were handwritten signs on multiple doors saying not to shut them because they would get stuck.
- Some towels were a bit stained/rough/or super frayed (these come from the Reservation place we booked through)
- Only got 1 key for the condo, which is tough when you have 9 people.
- Our bedroom (upstairs) overlooked the overflow parking lot. We had to deal with a HUGE ski-group bus offloading a large crowd in the middle of the night with diesel engine running for at least an hour. We also had to deal with this again early in the morning when the bus was getting ready to bring the ski group home. Super annoying when you're on vacation.
- No hairdryers in the bathrooms

All in all, the price was right for this place and we didn't spend too much time in the condo, so weren't overly bothered by the lack of frills. I would stay here again though, especially with a large group.

It was a nice place to stay. My family and I stayed for a week and it was a very good and peaceful place to relax.

“I little worn, but comfortable”
Reviewed 5 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The condo has a nice layout. But the dishwasher is not anchored to the kitchen counter, so when you open it, it tips forward badly making hard to load and unload dishes.

Located in a great location near a bus stop and walking distance to Vons.

“Convenient but not well-maintained”
Reviewed 4 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Pros: Good location near bus to slooes, easy walk to market. Terrific wifi. Beds in 3 of the rooms comfortable, bathrooms clean. Nearby Jacuzzi large and well-maintained. Cons: Bunk beds not very comfortable. Very dated overall and rather dark, which was not alleviated by poor lighting and several missing/not working light bulbs. Kitchen tiny -- hard to open freezer door. Slipping rack in dishwasher and non-working ventilating fan. Housekeeping non-responsive to requests for towels and toilet paper. Dead bolt on front door difficult (impossible for some of us) to lock and unlock.

“Okay but Could Be Better”
Reviewed 4 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Internet is GREAT even with several systems going. Living room very comfy but dark. Lots of sleep area for a large group/family with kiddos.

Called housekeeping had to leave message TWICE over 2 days. Still did not get them. Called reservations on 3rd day and finally talked to a person

Condo needs a full maintenance check.
Kitchen fan does not connected to exhaust fan.
Kitchen lighting does not reach all the cabinets.
One of downstairs fans is not working so steam set off smoke alarm
Lighting is not quite good enough for older folks all over the house. I realize that most folks go right to sleep after a long ski day, but some of us like to read at night.
