We visited the Sands Casino Resort Feb 25th.and had a very nice time. the Hotel was better than I thought it would be, room was large and clean. Check in was very easy and the person who checked us in was helpful with all our questions about the property. We ate at St James Gate Irish Pub and had a great waitress, and the food was excellent and large portions. The overall Casino was clean, bright and very inviting. The only thing was that the ventilation was poor which made the casino very smokey. The non smoking area of the Casino had a smoking poker bar right in the middle which made no sense what so ever, very poor design.
The Molten Lounge was a great place great band playing good music to a wide mix of people and ages. The people we met there were very friendy and had a great time. We drove up from Atlantic City area and the Sands gave us no incentive to want to spend 2 1/2 hours to drive back again. When we registered for a Sands card they only offered us $ 5.00 if we gave our e-mail address. We are Diamond and Black card holders in AC and they wouldn't even upgrade us to a better card. Again very nice Casino and Hotel, but no reason to ever go back.More
