I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I got a great price, the room was small (as expected) but with terrific features like the temperpedic bed, wifi, nice toiletries, and it was very clean! The breakfast was much nicer than I expected, too, with a fairly big breakfast room. They have all sorts of bagels, breads, cereal, hard boilled eggs, fruit, yogurt etc.

Also this is a nice quiet neighborhood, easy to access with transit, and felt very safe. We had no problems whatsoever with the hotel.

Unlike most hotels in NYC, Ramada Eastside offers free wifi and breakfast. Rooms are not big, but clean, comfortable and new. Location is quite convenient.

We recently stayed at the ramada Eastside, room 914.. It was very nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Includes free wii fi, free breakfast. The breakfast had many choice...fruit, ie apples, oranges, bananas, waffles, pancakes, fresh donuts and pastries every morning, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juices, hot chocolate etc. the location was nice. Room was pretty big. Two queen beds with lots of space. Bathroom was sizable too. Sheets smelled very fresh. Needless to say we were impressed with what we got for the price we paid. I would definitely stay there again.

Do not go by the brand name.. they are worse than a service apartment/hostel or dormitory..The room was toooooo small.. It was a horrible experience.. Not a value for money deal..
Should not be even the last choice of hotel to stay

Room Tip: you have better options around times square

Dear dewerma,

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were not pleased with your stay. Most of our rooms are average size for Manhattan, some are a bit larger and others are a bit smaller. We do try to offer the best hotel value by including free amenities that most other Manhattan hotels do not include, like free continental breakfast, free Wi-fi, and free domestic phone calls.

Most of our guests are very satisfied with their stay and enjoy the convenient neighborhood and great value provided.

We hope that you will give us another chance when you visit NYC again!

The Ramada Eastside will from now on be my hotel of choice when staying in NYC. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, pillows fluffy. The only issue I had was noise coming from the wall. According to staff the knocking noise coming from the wall was caused by heating in the pipes. They did offer a different room, but I decided just to deal with it, it wasn't all that bad. I do recall reserving a queen with a microwave and mini fridge, room 711 did not have either. But pull the curtains back, and the Empire State Building was gleaming a beautiful blue. The heater did not always work, however, a quick call to the front desk and they had a portable heater sent to the room. Breakfast was from 6am-10am, and I liked that it was in its own separate area away from the lobby. Times square is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel, or you can catch the 6 train a few blocks up on 28th ave. The Empire State Building is a quick 5-10 minute walk from hotel. Staff was friendly, I had an overall pleasant experience, and will definitely be staying here again soon.

Dear Iheartny_82,
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, but sorry about the minor inconveniences you faced with your room type and heat. We do try to give our guests the type of room they request, but sometimes they are not available.
We look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit!
