Order the raspberry mojito and you won't be disappointed. It is thick with fresh mint and chunks of fresh raspberries. Red snapper was also a standout. We had a party of 7 and everyone loved their food. Only negative was the bread pudding. It is fried and tasted like french toast. Stick with the sangria or the mojito as dessert instead. :)

Tight seating, busy, authentic, pretty cool place. We ordered some aides as appetizers: sweet plantains, tamales. All 4 of us lived our entrees including 1 fussy person. Service was great, constantly picking up used dishes/glasses

The restaurant was bustling, busy and lively having booked this restaurants prior to a trip in New York I am glad to have found this little gem. Small and intimate in style with live music it was full of character. started with cocktails - highly recommend then Habaneras to share followed by Pollo Manigua it was all really great food would definitely return.

Looking for a dinner place close to the Blue Note, I came upon Cuba on line. It merits its excellent reviews. The service was attentive, and the food was genuine and original. The appetizers are interesting--green plantains stuffed with shrimp and the calamares together with cherry tomatos and sweet plantains were our favorites (the empanadas were a bit over toasted, and could have been filled more). For mains, the lechon asado (slow-cooked pork) was some of the softest I've had, and the accompanying yuca with garlic perfect. The ropa vieja came nicely filled inside a ring of yucca chips. The Peruvian choclo (corn) side was unexpected and tasty. Be advised this place is LOUD. I don't know if it was just happy Saturday or what, but it does get larger groups in small rooms who basically talk by yelling. Not the restaurant's fault, but this might not be the place for a romantic anniversary dinner. The place bustles. Other than that, nice ambiance and efficient service, with a great Latin soundtrack playing throughout. Make sure you reserve in advance!

This intimate, friendly amazing restaurant is now my No1 when I'm in NYC.
I can't rave enough about it... excellent food, portions, service and ambience.
The coconut mojitos are delicious, the pineapple mojitos are too :)

I WILL BE BACK.
