I just booked my reservations a few weeks ago, and was contacted by Mr. Shorter via email. He noticed some oddities in my scheduling and contacted me to confirm and adjust my reservations to my specific needs. I am very impressed with his professionalism and courteous service.
Thank you again,

Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. We had a family room, which consisted of two double beds. The room was spacious and very clean. Rooms cleaned every day & loads of satellite stations for kids to watch some TV at night (everyone was exhausted from the walking during the day- delighted to just chill at night). Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate & cookies at the hotel reception everyday - which was a nice touch. The staff were ultra helpful, with a special mention for Geraldine in the breakfast restaurant - she was brilliant, gave us loads of tips everyday for our plans in the city she was so helpful & is an asset to the hotel. The Hotel location was amazing - right in time square.the subway entrance was directly outside the hotel. We got a late check out without an extra charge & the hotel organised our transfer to Newark airport. Great hotel, great city.we will definitely return.

Stayed here one night for a quick trip to NYC. Hotel looks outdated from the outside but is modern and updated on the inside. Beds were super comfortable & bathrooms were spotless. The check in process went smoothly, just wish the staff was a little friendlier.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is an older property but it is in very good condition. Our room was clean, in good condition, everything worked properly and it was large, especially by NY standards. We were on the 10th floor facing west. We had a nice view and the room was quiet. The complimentary breakfast was standard Hampton fare - good for a free breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The location was good - close to the theater district, central park, times square and subways. Also one block from 9th avenue which has a lot of very good restaurants. And the price was very reasonable. All in all, we were very satisfied and would stay here again.

Room tip: We were in room 1001. Upper floor facing west. Nice view, very quiet.

This is not a fancy hotel, one in a dozen rather, but still an excellent choice for a visit NYC.

Metro E-line has an entrance accross the street, this is the line that goes to JFK (1 stopover to the Airtrain). Takes approx 1 hour. tip: airtrain is 5$. However as of 2/3 persons it's better to by a card with 10 rides, only 2,5$. Valid for 2 years I believe.
Also other metrolines close by.

Nice restaurants, a bit out of the main tourist stream are walking distance. City Bikes, great and easy trnasport if you like biking, 1 minute from the hotel.
Also walking distance from broadway and time square and other highlights

Hotel rooms are relatively large, for NYC. We stayed with 3 in a room.
Breakfast is free and ok.

Negative points: hotel was very crowded, especially breakfast area hard to get a seat; go early.
Fire alarm test was done at midnight, very annoyng, it woke us up and it took us a few minytes to realize it was a test.
