The staff, accommodations and facilities were reasonable. The location is very convenient and parking discount was well worth it. I had forgotten an item in the hotel room and the staff made all effort to help me find it - and we did!

Great location for Soho and try to ask for a room on 18th floor back view you will have an amazing view of NYC. You are walking distance to the nicest shop no need to go to 5th Avenue
Only minus is the breakfast really basic

First overnight stay in NYC and what a good start to it. Arrived late due to airlines being the airlines. Hotel staff were more than accommodating. Rooms were smaller than what I have been used to, but standard for NYC as space is at a premium. Near the subway for movement across NYC and never more than a $15 Lyft/Uber ride away from major sites in NYC. Staff were able to provide advice on taxis/sightseeing and local drug stores for needs during my stay. Breakfast was good and glad they ended at 10am every day for the late risers among us.

Not in the hotel’s control, but something to be aware of. The hotel is in proximity to the Holland Tunnel entrance, so traffic on the road in front of the hotel was consistent during most of our stay. Not a disruption to plans or enjoyment of the hotel, so if you catch a rideshare/taxi, walk down 60 yards or so to the main street and catch it there.

We stayed at this hotel during our recent NYC visit. .It is a small Hotel 9 rooms each floor starting from 2-19 floors. We chose this one because we wanted easy access to China Town, SOHO, Little Italy and also easy access to get out of city. It literally sitting at the entrance of the Holland Tunnel leading to NJ (One intersection). We had to rent a car during our visit. The nearest parking garage hotel provides discount is about 5 minutes walk (2 blocks on W Broadway, Sams Parking) and it costs $45 per day with no in and out privilege. NYC parking is very pricey. The subways are very convenient and easy access to pretty much all lines within 5 minutes of walking. We did have to use the Subway a few times during our stay. It is located at the east end of the China town and 10 minute walk to the center of China Town along the Canal Street, which we did many times. The Hotel room is quite small. Continental Breakfast was decent. Staffs were friendly. Wi-Fi worked well. We had a room on the 16th floor facing Watts Street, and road noise was not noticeable. We can see the Holland tunnel traffic from the window. The reception area has hot tea, coffee etc. all day long and apples and bananas. Of course there are many restaurants around in the SOHO area and this is probably true for most Hotels in New York. Overall, it was very convenient for us. Due to nearby construction, the hotel sign was not very obvious and we almost missed it and went back into Holland Tunnel (because we rented car).

Room Tip: Better view with higher level.

This Hampton Inn is located in SOHO and is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, Little Italy, Chinatown and the subway. The hot breakfast is a great way to start the day before heading out to shop and sight see. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
