Owner description: There are a million things to experience in New York City, but there’s only one way to see them all at once. You can start by hopping a Sky Pod to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. There, 102 stories up, find yourself face-to-face with New York’s iconic skyline. Maybe you’ve seen views of the city before, but never quite like this. Walk the three sprawling levels of the Observatory and discover surprises along the way. Drop into the café and grab a bite to eat. Step onto the Sky Portal and stroll high above the crowded streets. Take an interactive guided tour of the city with the help of our Skyline Concierges, available to answer any questions you might have about New York’s long and storied history. And don’t leave without stopping by the One Mix bar for a glass of celebratory prosecco and one last look toward the horizon. See for yourself why One World Observatory is truly An Experience Above.

The sight of this building is stunning before you even set foot inside it. I am not going to spoil anyone’s surprise regarding the lift ride up to the top and the presentation before you go off to see the wonderful sights, but rest assured, you’re in for a treat. Once you get to wander round to view Manhattan from this viewpoint, you won’t be disappointed. We just happened, by accident, to time our visit with sundown. What a beautiful sight to witness the sun go down from this vantage. I was wowed and humbled at the same time. I loved the floor to ceiling windows and the 360 degree views. Don’t miss this from your itinerary. You won’t regret it.

Chose a clear day to visit the One World Observatory. Booked our time slot for 5:45pm. It was about 6:30 by the time we reached the observatory level after lining up outside and going through various ticket checks and security. Once we got up, the views were spectacular with the sun just starting to set. Great views in all directions, but it was quite difficult to get a spot at the windows due to the large crowds. Some people were just sitting with their back to the windows looking at their phones taking up space at the windows!

Hello SB, as the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, we agree that the views are spectacular! The 360-degree, climate-controlled experience certainly makes for an unforgettable day, and something we hope you enjoy again very soon! Thank you for your review!

The whole building is an incredible monument to those who lost their lives. We precooked tickets and it was good to see them stick to these times.

The queues to get in are large so maybe paying for express tickets would be of benefit. We were in no rush so it was fine. It took around 50 minutes to get to the top but wow. The elevator ride was incredible and the way they reveal the views is genius. An incredible view of the whole city but also very poignant if you take a minute to remember what happened up there.

Defo a must see.

We pre-booked tickets for March 29th and arrived excited to go to the top. No lines so went right up and we were told it might be a little tough to see things with the weather but still would be a great visit...get up there and could not see anything! Looked like they put white sheets over all the windows. They then even tried to sell us on an iPad to help see more which only would help if you could actually see anything out the windows. We waited almost two hours up there (with two young children) to see if anything became more visible as they kept suggesting but it never happened. Don’t pre-book your tickets and only go on a clear day. Complete disappointment and waste of money.
