This is a great spot if you’re looking for a quick breakfast snack (as opposed to a sit-down place). Their coffee and croissants are great, but their beignets really steal the show! The staff was helpful, and the dining area is clean and well-kept. I recommend this to anyone who’d rather spend their precious New York minutes exploring rather than eating, but still has high expectations for food!

Spent yesterday in NYC.
I bought the Grand Marnier Bouche de Noel. It was the most phenomenal thing I ever tasted in my life!! Even though I live in PA, I have to get back to NYC before Christmas to get a few more!!
I bought the Apple Gallette! I was blown away by how incredibly fresh and light and delicious it was! it just melted in my mouth! I ran back to buy more at the end of the day but they were all sold out!!
I bought the box of 16 Petit Fours..just because it was the most the most exquisite looking box of magnificent pastries that I had ever seen! Did not disappoint! Every one was fantastic! I could not tell you which was the best....Every single one was The BEST! There is no question that only fresh, top quality natural ingredients are used here. No artificial taste what-so-ever, like in so many other bakery's!!
Whoever is the mastermind Pastry Chef behind this Patisserie.....Merci Beaucoup!! And please keep up the great work!

On the weekend when options are limited, Financier is a great option! Better coffee
Than the Ritz and a fabulous croissant, quiche, and beignet. Nice spot where you can sit a while and enjoy your food before heading back out to explore.

Fascinating area with the World Trade Memorial brilliantly illuminated from the 20th Floor. But the room was bare, with a squeezed-in feel and the view from the window on the 9th floor was mostly of walls with a glint of light. Breakfast on the 20th floor was poor and very expensive, and it was difficult to get a cup of coffee. If you want a taxi you're going to have to walk several streets over because the street itself is blocked due to construction still going on. But then there's the confluence of the Hudson and the Atlantic down at the Battery, and terrific restaurants nearby.
