Description: Taïm is the love child of husband and wife team, Chef Einat Admony and Stefan Nafziger. In 2005, homesick for the favorite street food of Tel Aviv, they heard of a tiny store front available on quiet Waverly place and decided to open their own falafel shop. Relying on her years of international cooking experience as well as her roots, Einat created a menu centered around street food with a gourmet twist. The freshness and quality of the ingredients coupled with Taïm’s spin on traditional falafel flavors give new meaning to the concept of fast food.

I ate here last time I was in New York and still think about it - the falafel is incredible, with delicious fresh salad and a tasty pitta. The filling doesn't fall out when you're walking around either which is great!

The pictures posted do not reflect how awsome this falafel are. Really, never tried anything better. Good variety, so if you go for the first time, you might need a minute to figure it out ;) First you can choose one of the 3 types of falafel, then you choose the type bread (or without it) and the rest of the ingredients (there are 4 options I think) They are all amazing. And they also have the chef special each month!! I would have one daily.

We have wanted to try the falafel here since watching the owner battle Bobby Flay on tv...

Best falafel we've ever had - and very cool that there are different falafel flavors. The green was our favorite by far, but the harissa (red) and olive were also very good.

Hummus and tehina were also excellent, as were the pita, salad, and other sauces like amba & hot sauce.

Taim is a tiny, tiny place, so much better for takeout, although we managed to squeeze in at the counter. The quality of the food and authenticity of the flavors were spot on.

Smoothies were good too.

Went to Taim having not been there for a few years. The standard of the food here has sadly declined and has become more expensive. The food used to be excellent. My dinner was notably unremarkable. I will stick to Mamoun's in east village, which is cheaper and more authentic. You guys need to pull your socks up,

We have Taim catered to our office every now and then. Nothing about the food is appealing. DO NOT eat the falafel. It's a big ball of tasteless mush.
