“Best place to dine inside of bloomies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

This is my dads little secret inside of bloomies. He always takes us here to take a break from the madness at the store. The service is superb and the atmosphere is great. Unlike the other restaurants @ bloomies no one seems to really know that this one exists. So it's usually nice and quiet. The service reminds you of you of yesteryear. The food is not bad either. Sometimes we just grab drinks here. I love the idea of eating in a train cart way up in the air. I recommend it!

“What happened?!?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

I dined at Le Train Blue in the Summer of 2011. It was everything that the reviews are saying. Went back with my husband and son in February 2012 and was embarassed! The food was nowhere near the quality is was in the summer. We had trouble getting any attention from our server. We noticed another table having the same difficulties as well (two older ladies). The server seemed to only be interested in helping the one table she had with two women of color. After raving about the restaurant all the way there, I was sorely disappointed. Too bad the tip has to go on before you pay!

“C'est Magnifique”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2012

We were going to New York for Thanksgiving and had been told about Le Train Bleu, a restaurant in Bloomingdales. We had done a bit of research but hadn't found out much about this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. Its design is based on the Orient Express. The decor was fantastic, servers were brilliant and very attentive and the food was lovely. 10 out of 10. Brilliant experience.

“Old world taste sensation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2011

Spent Christmas day at Le Train Bleu. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was sensational and the price reasonable. The desserts were to die for. The wine list was good, perhaps a little expensive but good quality. The atmosphere is old world and gorgeous - highly recommend a visit.
