Definitely a must walk in Manhattan. Very nice walking area, dress well if windy and cold. Try also a night walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk on the High Line. The architecture is stunning, the views are fantastic and the park is a breath of fresh air in the city.

A walkway that lifts you above the streets and provides a quieter and much nicer way to walk to (or from) Greenwich Village. Lots of seats for a rest and plenty of greenery.

What a wonderful place and such a great story of the locals saving this from demolition. Its peaceful and calm unlike most of the city. Would be great on a sunny day but unfortunately it was misty when we visited so the views weren't great.Make sure you explore the local area too as there are lots of lovely shops and restaurants.
