A very unique and innovative walkway. You're able to see a view of the West Side that most don't see.

“A great idea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2012

How wonderful to see how the old tracks became part of the new, beautiful park. There were volunteers planting flowers, school children learning about the city, old and young enjoying the walk and the view. A feel-good place to be!

“Work in progress”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

Although the idea of recycling old train lines into an elevated park is a good one, I feel that the High Line Park hasn't reached its full potential yet.
Nevertheless, the High Line is a nice walk and on clear days, the view to New Jersey is pretty.

“Great walk through Manhattan”

If you want to see Manhattan without crowds of people, you will enjoy this great walk full of grass. Walk line made from the old railway tracks - perfect idea!
