“Superb Location but falls short”

This is quite an interesting and large loft in Tribeca. Great location close to restaurants, cafes, stores and the subway. The central part of the loft has high ceilings with fans a good generous space but the kitchen, one bathroom and bedrooms have low ceilings two of our party were over six foot they had to bend over most of the time. The bedrooms all have steep stepladders for access and apart from the main bedroom are not as big as they appear in the photos. There are no wardrobes or closets in two of the bedrooms in fact one of the hanging spaces was off electrical conduit a big no, no.They are futon mattress's so nice and hard. Both Bathrooms are off the main and or laundry spaces and in the case of the bathroom of the central part o the loft you have to step up onto a platform a large step up it all works but its just a bit challenging. There is also a lot of stuff stored in the loft ie paints, thinners, building material, furniture, fabric The main air con needs replacing its very noisey The place does have a big kitchen and laundry which is a real plus I wouldn't stay here again but it will appeal to many people It is a great location and have lift access There should be more detail in the Tripadvisor description outlining some of these issues I did ask questions in booking the loft but obviously not enough. It is however in a safe area and is a big loft.I would probably recommend this to friends but only after bringing the short comings to their attention.

“A loft with that 'wow factor'”

Situated conveniently in Tribeca and close to 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge, Little Italy and Chinatown, the apartment certainly has that 'wow factor' when you first get out of the lift. Filled with extensive art work and even a baby grand piano it takes your breath away. First impressions can be misleading however and, as a previous reviewer has said, it does not lend itself to elderly or disabled guests with access to all 3 bedrooms surely not meeting UK building regulations - 2 literally step ladders. Future prospective guests should also be aware that the bathrooms are not en suite and some way from 2 of the bedrooms, which is a shame, especially if needed to be used during the night. The kitchen is very well equipped but rarely used by ourselves apart from a light breakfast in the morning. Having said this, Tribeca has many unusual and varied restaurants in the immediate vicinity (first time we have tried Korean!). Roberto met us when we arrived from JFK and acquainted us with the use of the lift and the layout of the apartment and put us at our ease. It was good that we did not have to vacate the property until about 5.00pm on the Sunday we left as this effectively gave us almost an extra day in New York. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends, but with reservations re access to the bedrooms and to be aware that the bathrooms are not en suite.

Book this appartment for myself ,my husband, son and 2 grandchildren, had a job ti find a large enough appartment for all our needs.
Until I came across this loft appartment after viewing all the pictures we booked it and we're not disappointed, the appartment was fabulous huge and very interesting.
We were met by the owner Roberto and another lady.Who were very welcoming and showed us the workings of the appartment and left lots of interesting info for local area.
The loft was in a quiet but central area near to all transport links.
Wouldn't hesitate to book again as home from home beautiful place to stay.

“We couldn't believe our luck”

5 of us stayed here recently and couldn't believe how lovely the apartment was. It is so large and so many interesting pictures and other things to see. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was excellent- not that we cooked with so many excellent places to eat nearby. The area is lovely and so easy to get about from the apartment. We would certainly return and would recommend it to any group of up to 6 people who want something a bit different. Also, Roberto is on sight, so easy to contact.
