We stumbled upon this restaurant during our long walks around the East Side. What a gem. This is a family run restaurant with few aging photos of famous people that had eaten there. The decor was hodge podge but pleasant and set the family atmosphere off to perfection. I felt like I was in grandma's kitchen. Take a moment and talk to the owners. You're in for a treat. They are friendly and warm. Even if you didn't eat the food, you want to come back just to get to know them more.
The menu was huge and had everything from greek specialties to burgers and fries, soups, salads, and spaghetti. There's something there for everyone. The portions were quite large and the price much lower than anything we'd experienced in our week spent in NYC.
We like it so much, we went back for breakfast the next day!
